Thailand Charity Trip 1&2 Oct 2016

Preparation for yearly charity trip started few months before 1st Oct 2016 from Thai friends. They received donation such as story books, toys, clothes and rice etc from friends and neighbours. We bought stationery sets and hair accessories for school children. We will be travelling about 6 hours from Bangkok to Sangkhlaburi on 1st Oct 2016.

I believe this will be a wonderful👍✌charity trip conjunction with
Thai friends and ourselves. 

 

* Friendship Charity Team leader Mr. Lee donated 3000 baht to the school 

学校主要有4间课室, 一个食堂和一个礼堂;一共有120位学生和3位老师。

根据我们向之前在这间学校执教的老师Mr. JJ Pooh的了解, 这里除了教师短缺, 电力也不足, 即使课室里有电灯和风扇平时也用不到几个小时。
学生们会在家里吃早餐才去上学, 而学校会提供午餐给孩子们吃。
There are total 4 classrooms, 1 canteen and 1 hall in the school.
According to Mr. JJ Pooh, a former school teacher, they are facing problem such as insufficient teachers and electricity power is not strong in the area.
Children usually have their breakfast at home before going to school, school will provide lunch everyday.

Children need to walk about half an hour from their house to the school everyday.
When on the way leaving the school compound after the event, we gave the children a lift when we saw them walking along the road.

非常感谢泰国队友多个月来的安排和策划, 使得10月1日的泰国慈善之旅完美落幕。从曼谷市到这间位于泰缅边境偏远的学校, 车程需要将近6个小时。一路上我们经过了无数个橡胶园, 凹凸不平的黄泥路; 虽然路途遥远但我们都很迫切的期待着到达目的地, 分发零食和文具给每位孩子。
